Spatzle grater

Spätzle are irregularly shaped dumplings made from soft wheat flour, eggs and water, originating in southern Germany, also widespread in Tyrol and Trentino-Alto Adige.

To obtain them, an instrument similar to a grater is used with a surface full of holes with a mobile container applied on top into which the dough is dropped. This creates dumplings that fall directly into the boiling water.
